Carol Moyles is a landscape designer with over 25 years of work experience. This work includes a wide range of institutional, recreational, real estate and residential projects. Carol strives for conceptual clarity in shaping landscapes collaborating with owners, institutions and the public as part of an integrated design process. By listening to project requirements in relation to understanding context/specific site and environmental conditions she is able to synthesize the issues and solve problems in creating beautiful landscapes.
Her love of horticulture and design originated at the University of Delaware where she received an undergraduate degree in Plant and Soil Science. Her early work experience in the mid-Atlantic states included both work in landscape design and the nursery trade. After receiving a Master of Landscape Architecture Degree from Cornell University, she moved to the Boston area and has worked at both small landscape and large multi-disciplinary design firms. In addition to work, she serves as a town-meeting and Belmont Land Trust Board member. During her free time, Carol loves to garden, knit and play tennis.
